Our Mission

To all who are weary and need rest;
To all who are friendless and desire friendship;
To all who believe in God and wish to worship him;
To all who are grateful and would give thanks;
To all who hunger for prayer and wish to pray;
To all who know sin and need a savior;
This Church opens its doors, and in the name of the Lord bids.

Message from Rev. Allston A. Jacobs, Rector

Rev Allston A. Jacobs Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We, The Church of St. Katherine of Alexandria greet you in the name of God who is Father and Creator, Jesus Christ, his Son and Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier of our lives.

The Church of St. Katherine of Alexandria is called and committed to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, through our diverse ministries of reaching out to the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the marginalized, and the less fortunate of society. We are also called to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings.

To accomplish our mission, The Church of St. Katherine of Alexandria creates a safe, peaceful environment for persons to worship and experience the grace and forgiveness of God. Our church is a gathering place:

  1. For those who are seeking a "new beginning," or yearning to grow in "love and compassion" as they deepen their faith in God;
  2. For building and strengthening our family relationship;
  3. Where the family of believers can find healing and wholeness;
  4. To connect people to Jesus Christ and to each other;
  5. To equip persons for their ministries in the church and life mission in the world; and
  6. To celebrate faith and spread hope to all.

We are a Church that reaches out and are excited at the prospect of touching lives so that together we can build a community of faith as we grow spiritually into the body of Christ. It is our spirit of unity that will make the Church of St. Katherine of Alexandria a better and more unified community.

It is with great pleasure I use this opportunity to personally extend a special invitation to you and your family, to join us at our 9:00 o'clock Sunday Morning Service. Our goal is always to provide a meaningful and memorable worship experience. We, at The Church of St Katherine of Alexandria eagerly look forward to your visit to warmly welcome you into the friendly atmosphere of our Parish family.

May God continue to bless us as we seek to build His kingdom here on earth.

Your friend and priest,
Fr. Allston A. Jacobs.
